Sinefilm

Focusing on independent film projects, Sinefilm was founded by director Pelin Esmer in 2005 where she produced her feature length films so far together with her producer colleagues Tolga Esmer, Nida Karabol Akdeniz and Dilde Mahalli.

Among the productions of Sinefilm are highly praised and award winners The Play, 10 to 11, Watchtower, Something Useful and Queen Lear directed by Pelin Esmer. 10 to 11 and Watchtower are both produced as Turkish-German-French co-productions where Sinefilm has been the delegate production company. 10 to 11 was a co-production with Arte France whereas Watchtower and Something Useful were supported by Turkish Ministry of Culture, CNC, Medienboard (Berlin) and Eurimages. The films have been released in Turkey, France, Germany, The Netherlands and the USA. Sinefilm (Tolga Esmer) also line-produced a four-episode Arte France documentary on Istanbul.
